How we do it.
Identify the staining
Sprinkler overspray, pool splash, and runoff from stucco all leave different marks. We look at pattern and depth to judge what we are dealing with.
Test a small patch
We treat a low corner first and show you the result. If the etching is too deep to improve, we say so rather than sell you the service.
Treat the affected glass
Deposits are broken down and worked off the surface in controlled passes, slow and checked as we go, never aggressive enough to haze the glass.
Neutralize and wash
Treated panes get fully washed and rinsed with deionized water so nothing is left sitting on the glass or in the frames.
Prevent the repeat
We point out which sprinkler heads are hitting the glass. Adjusting them is the difference between a one-time fix and an annual expense.
Long-neglected hard water can permanently etch glass. We will always tell you when replacement is the better spend.
